Tellers is an AI video editing agent and browser-based editor. Give it an idea, brief, script, audio, or footage, and it can find or generate visuals, assemble an editable timeline, add sound and motion graphics, and render a finished video.
02How does prompt-based video editing work?
Describe the video you want, then ask for specific changes: “Start with the interview,” “Cut this to 30 seconds,” or “Make a vertical version.” Tellers applies your instructions to an editable timeline. You can review the result, ask for another revision, or adjust the edit yourself.
03Do I need my own footage to start?
No. You can upload your own media, search integrated Pexels stock videos and images, generate new assets with AI models, or combine all three in the same project.
04Can I edit the video myself?
Yes. Every result remains an editable, multi-track timeline inside Tellers. You can change it directly, ask the agent for another revision, or combine both approaches.
05What can the editing agent change?
The agent can search footage, restructure scenes, tighten pacing, reframe shots, change formats, and add captions, music, voice-over, picture-in-picture, titles, and motion graphics. You review the changes and decide what makes the final cut.
06Are the AI models included in one workflow?
Yes. Tellers brings video, image, speech, sound, reasoning, editing, and stock-media tools into one workflow. The agent can coordinate the appropriate tools without requiring you to learn a separate interface or prompting style for each one.
07Can Tellers produce a ready-to-publish video?
Yes. You can preview and edit the timeline in the browser, then render the finished video in the cloud. Exporting an editable timeline to Avid, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve is available when you want a professional NLE handoff, but it is optional.
08Is Tellers only for professional editors?
No. Tellers supports professional production and post-production workflows, but it is also designed for agencies, marketing teams, creators, and people who simply want to finish a personal video without learning traditional editing software.
